Chrysler has revealed its redesigned 2014 Jeep Cherokee SUV ahead of its global debut at the upcoming New York International Auto Show to be held during 29 March to 07 April 2013 in the US.
The new redesigned vehicle is expected to be powered by a 3.2L V-6 engine, based on the automaker’s 3.6L Pentastar engine. The coming Cherokee SUV is claimed to come with improved fuel economy of about more than 45% compared to the outgoing model. It will be built at the Chrysler Group’s Toledo Assembly Plant in Toledo, Ohio, which is currently being retooled since August 2012 for the production of the Liberty replacement.
The new model production is expected to start in May 2013 with the sales expected to begin in third quarter of the year.
