On the eve of the North American International Auto Show in Detroit General Motors unveiled 2014 Corvette C7.
The newly designed 2014 Corvette C7 features a 6.2-liter small-block V-8 with 450 horsepower takes the car from zero to 60 mph in under four seconds. The overwhelming changes include aluminum replaced steel, super-light rivets held parts together, and the V-8 engine kicked down to four cylinders at highway speeds, saving fuel. The images of the front of the seventh-generation of 2014 Chevrolet Corvette C7 have been sent to some of the biggest car magazines, Automobile and Road&Track, to be prepared for their covers.
Looking pretty cool, it now has a more aggressive front fascia which sort of looks similar to the SRT Viper.
It is also less curvatious than the old model and has a more angular design. The rear-end design looks especially interesting, what with its quad exhaust setup.
The engine powering the Corvette C7 is a brand-new 6.2 liter V8 engine with 450 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque. Check back tomorrow for official details and pictures.
The 2014 Chevy Corvette is scheduled to be unveiled at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit on January 13.
