Chevrolet has released images of the open-top version of the redesigned Corvette Stingray.

Previously Chevrolet told about its intensions to sell more Corvettes in Europe, so it’s no surprise that the roadster is rolling out in Geneva rather than later this month at the New York Auto Show.

The topless Stingray features the same angular design as the new-generation hard-top version of the iconic US sportscar that was revealed at the Detroit motor show in January. Read the rest of this entry

General Motors announced that two of its smallest cars, Sparks and Sonic, that are expected to arrive in dealer showrooms early next year, will be the first to integrate Apple’s Siri “intelligent personal assistant” software. The company will launch the 2013 Chevrolet Spark minicar and 2013 Chevrolet Sonic subcompact with Chevrolet MyLink infotainment systems, which connect to iPhones via Bluetooth. Using a steering wheel-mounted button, drivers will be able to ask Siri for directions, to send messages, or to play songs via iTunes.  Read the rest of this entry

Chevrolet is a truly global brand on sale in 130 countries with 61 percent of its worldwide sales transacting outside our borders. However, the brand believes its greatest growth opportunity is in the U.S. Accounting for 70 percent of New GM’s total sales, Chevrolet’s marketing and product strategy is aimed at five customer groups (some of which admittedly overlap).
