The tuning specialists from RUF has presented their updated 3800S program for Porsche Boxsterand Cayman at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.

Under the hood, the model received an updated 3.8-liter flat-six engine that delivers a total of 420 horsepower at 7,400 rpm and 332 pound-feet of torque at 5,600 rpm. Read the rest of this entry

Porsche is recalling over 2,263 of its Carrera sports cars from the 2012-13 model years as their exhaust pipes can fall off. The recall involves 911  Carrera and Carrera 4 cars built between March and November in 2012, all being equipped with standard exhaust systems.

The company said it discovered during internal testing the exhaust tailpipes could fracture and fall off on vehicles that had been driven more than 25,000 miles. Read the rest of this entry

The 2013 Porsche Cayman and Cayman S coupes made their debuts at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show. Although these sports cars aren’t expected to make up a large percentage of the German automaker’s sales, they’re perhaps the purest modern interpretation of Porsche’s high-performance heritage.
